Bardon House Stage 2
Long time Brisbane residents required a considered update to their Queenslander abode located in the inner west of Brisbane - one that they have lived in for a long time and intend to call home for many more years. The first stage in 2018 saw changes to the kitchen and living areas and we were overjoyed to be asked back for stage two. In this second stage, Designtank were tasked with the interior design, layout and finishes selections to transform an ensuite into a contemporary luxury retreat for everyday use.
A bold navy blue defines two large vanities on either side of the space, featuring handcrafted pottery basins and storage a plenty. Both vanities are anchored by custom ceiling hung mirrors framed in black, which meant that the windows didn’t restrict the design. Playful patterned floor tiles in a terracotta hue are matched to the unique coloured grout between the white wall tiles that surround the room. The light filled bathroom is completed with a spacious shower that can be enjoyed after a busy day at work.
