Fifth Bathrooms
A family with two primary school aged boys required a thoughtful, modern update to their main bathroom and ensuite – with an improved layout and considered use of space a must in the brief. Designtank were tasked with the design and overseeing of building works for this project, creating a family friendly (yet equally stylish) bathroom for the boys and a luxurious neutral ensuite for the parents.
A remote-controlled skylight was added to the main bathroom to increase light and airflow, while the space is defined by calming blue hues featured on the cabinetry and vertically stacked subway tiles in the shower. A spacious shower with a handy ledge and large tub completes the transformation. In the ensuite, modern black hardware pops against the neutral palette. A curved bath with an in-built niche creates an inviting zone for the parents to enjoy daily.
